Considered to be a significant example of the Monroe County limestone industry, the Woolery Stone Company mill has changed little since the 1950s and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Originally finished in 1908 in the Beaux Arts style, this is the third courthouse built in Bloomington, Indiana. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, having escaped proposed destruction in 1959.

Stego-lo-Demetrodon catches some morning sun, Bryan Park

Limestone sculpture (1989, William Galloway) in Bloomington's Bryan Park. In order to include both a sail-back (Dimetrodon) and a tail-loop with spikes (Stegosaurus) the artist hybridized the two species. So far, no children have complained about its paleontological authenticity.
